Hello everyone! Today I am back with a very fun tag that I made for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge. Let’s have a look at how to create this fun project!
For the sky background I simply painted a piece of Canson watercolor cardstock with my Gansai Tambi watercolors. On a piece of Ranger Distress Watercolor cardstock I stamped the little pig form the MFT Hog Heaven stamp set and the clouds from the MFT Magical Unicorns set. For the stamping I used Ranger Archival ink in jet black. I then went ahead and colored the images using my Zig Clean Real Color brush markers. Finally, I die cut everything using the coordinating dies and my Big Shot machine.
For the tag itself I used the larger die from the Lawn Fawn “Tag, you’re it” set. I used a rectangular die to create the window on my tag front. To create the stitched clouds I combined the Lawn Fawn tag die and the die from the Mama Elephant Landscape Trio die set.
Basically before adhering everything together I had
– One tag cut from watercolor cardstock for the base
– One tag cut from the piece of cardstock where I painted the sky
– One tag cut from acetate
– One tag from watercolor cardstock with a window cut out from the center
– One tag from MFT patterned paper with a window cut out from the center
I assembled my tag by gluing together the layers in the list above in the same order as I wrote them down. I used double-sided tape to attach everything. Finally I added the clouds and the little pig again using double-sided tape.
For the sentiment I combined two stamps from the MFT Adorable Elephants and Ewe Are the Best sets. I stamped the sentiment before adhering the cloud to the tag using Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black.
As final touch I used some transparent white ribbon which I think matches perfectly with the tag! And that’s it for today! I really like how this project turned out, the pattern paper and the acetate window make it even cuter! I am sorry that you can’t really notice the effect of the acetate in the pictures. But I ensure you, it is quite nice 🙂

WINDOW TAG PER LA WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE DI SIMON SAYS STAMP
Ciao a tutti! Oggi volevo mostrarvi una tag che ho realizzato per la Wednesday challenge sul blog di Simon Says Stamp. Vediamo come fare per creare questo progetto carino carino 🙂
Per il cielo sullo sfondo ho utilizzato i miei acquarelli Gansai Tambi e della carta da acquerelli Canson. Su del cartoncino Distress Watercolor di Ranger ho timbrato l’immagine del maialino dal set Hog Heaven di MFT, e le nuvole del set Magical Unicorns, sempre di MFT, usando il tampone Archival Ink di Ranger nel colore Jet Black. Per colorare le immagini ho utilizzato i miei Zig Clean Real Color brush markers. Infine ho ritagliato tutto usando le fustelle in coordinato ai set di timbri e la mia Big Shot.
Per la tag ho utilizzato la fustella più grande del set Tag, You’re It di Lawn Fawn. Ho utilizzato una fustella rettangolare per creare la finestra nella parte frontale della tag. Per creare le nuvole con l’effetto cucito ho combinato la fustella per la tag con una delle fustelle del set Landscape Trio di Mama Elephant.
A questo punto, prima di assemblare il tutto, avevo i seguenti elementi:
– Una tag ritagliata da del cartoncino per acquerelli Canson
– Una tag ritagliata da cartoncino sul quale avevo dipinto il cielo
– Una tag ritagliata da un foglio di acetato
– Una tag con finestra ritagliata da del cartoncino per acquarelli (realizzata combinando la fustella per la tag con una fustella rettangolare per creare l’apertura)
– Una tag con finestra ritagliata da della carta decorata di MFT (realizzata combinando la fustella per la tag con una fustella rettangolare per creare l’apertura)
Ho assemblato la mia tag incollando tra di loro gli elementi della lista qui sopra, nell’ordine in cui sono elencati. A tal fine ho utilizzato del nastro biadesivo. Infine ho incollato gli elementi decorativi, cioè il maialino e le nuvole, sempre utilizzando del nastro biadesivo. Il messaggio Thinking of you è stato ricavato da due diversi timbri, uno del set Ewe Are The Best, e l’altro del set Adorable Elephants, entrambi di MFT. Ho stampato il messaggio prima di far aderire le nuvole alla tag.
Come tocco finale ho utilizzato del nastro bianco trasparente, che ho fatto passare attraverso l’occhiello della tag.
E questo è tutto per il post di oggi! Questo progettino mi piace davvero tanto, la carta decorata e il foglio di acetato lo rendono ancora più carino! Mi dispiace soltanto che l’effetto dell’acetato non si veda nelle foto, ma vi assicuro che è davvero bello! 🙂
