A colorful birthday card for the first Lawn Fawnatics challenge

The images are stamped on heavyweight white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Spectrum Noir markers. The patterned paper is from a My Favorite Things paper pad, and the layout was inspired by one of the old MFT sketch challenges. The white panel and the striped banner were die cut with dies from the Lawn Fawn Small Journaling Stitched Card set. For the larger banner I extended the smaller die from the Lawn Fawn Tag, You’re It die set. I used foam tape to raise the white background panel as well as the central smoothie glass. And as a final touch I added the little umbrella on top of the sentiment and some Nuvo clear glitter drops – they make me think of bubbles in a sparkling drink! And that’s it! Easy and quick card, but really cool with the addition of the sunglasses to the cute smoothie glass! Simply adorable!

UNA CARD DI COMPLEANNO COLORATISSIMA PER LA PRIMA SFIDA DEL BLOG LAWN FAWNATICS

Buongiorno a tutti! Oggi voglio condividere una card che ho realizzato per la challenge sul nuovo blog Lawn Fawnatics. Il tema per questa edizione è “Happy Birthday”, perciò ho deciso di utilizzare il divertentissimo set di timbri So Smooth di Lawn Fawn, e le fustelle in coordinato, per creare una birthday card coloratissima! Le immagini sono state stampate su del cartoncino bianco con l’inchiostro Memento in Tuxedo black e colorate con pennarelli Spectrum Noir. La carta decorata appartiene ad un blocco da 6 × 6″ di My Favorite Things, e il layout della card è ispirato ad una delle vecchie sketch challenges di My Favorite Things. Il pannello bianco e il banner striato sono stati ritagliati utilizzando le fustelle del set Stitched Journaling Card di Lawn Fawn. Per il banner più grande invece ho utilizzato la fustella più piccola del set Tag You’re It!, sempre di Lawn Fawn. Ho aggiunto dimensione alla card utilizzando del nastro biadesivo in schiuma sul retro del pannello bianco e del bicchiere da cocktail al centro della composizione. Come tocco finale ho posizionato l’ombrellino sopra al messaggio e creato degli accenti glitterati con le Nuvo Clear Glitter Drops –  mi hanno fatto pensare a delle bollicine in una bibita frizzante! E questo è tutto! Una card molto semplice da realizzare, ma che trovo davvero simpatica, soprattutto grazie all’aggiunta degli occhiali da sole sul bicchiere rosa! Troppo carino!
