Jo’s Scrap Shack FFC #192 DT card feat KennyK Stamps and Spectrum Noir Markers

For today’s card I decided to go for a clean and simple look: I printed the Cat digi on some Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored it using my Spectrum Noir markers. I kept the coloring pretty simple to match the cartoon-like feel of the image. I then used my Cutter Bee scissors to cut around the image, making sure to leave a white edge all around.
I then moved on to my card base: to start off I trimmed some white heavyweight cardstock using my Avery Elle Wonky Stitched Rectangle dies. I then glued the panel thus obtained on some Strathmore Toned Gray paper cut at a standard US A2 size with some Multi Medium Matte by Ranger. I then cut the strip of patterned paper and the little heart, both from the Doodlebug Kittens Smittens 6×6″ paper pad. I glued them and the cat image on my card base using Ranger Multi Medium Matte and I stamped the sentiment from the MFT Cool Cat stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. And that’s it! Really quick and simple, but still very cute! And that sentiment is so much fun, don’t you agree? 🙂
