Craftin Desert Divas June Mood Board Card feat Bunny Hearth Balloon Digi

But now let’s have a look at today’s card. The image below is the mood board for June: I decided to follow the color palette of the board, but to use brighter colors.

The image I used is the Bunny Hearth Balloon digital stamp by Craftin Desert Divas: it was literally love at first sight with this one! Soooo incredibly cute! I printed the image on some Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored it with my Spectrum Noir markers. I also used my white gel pen to add some detail here and there, and my Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay pen to add shimmer to the bird, the clouds, the hearths, and the little flower on the bunny’s head. For the sky I used my Distress Ink in Tumbled Glass: I smooshed it on my craft mat, diluted it with water, and used a water brush to lightly paint in my sky. Because Neenah Solar White cardstock is not meant to be used with water, I was very careful not to wet it too much to avoid peeling and excessive warping. And I think it worked out pretty well! 

Once I was done coloring, I cut the front panel to 4 by 5 1/4 inches and I used some foam tape to glue it to my card base. For the base I used one of the patterned paper sheets from the Doodlebug Spring Things 6×6″ paper pad, as I thought this would add an extra touch to the card. The sentiment comes from the Joyful Day digital stamp, also by Crafting Desert Divas. I printed it on some Neenah Solar White cardstock, cut it to shape using my Tonic Studios Guillotine Trimmer, and I mounted it on my card using some foam squares. And that’s it! A pretty simple card in terms of coloring and layout, but I think that with such adorable images you don’t need much to get really nice results! MOOD BOARD CRAFTIN DESERT DIVAS FEAT IMMAGINE DIGITALE BUNNY HEARTH BALLOON

Ciao a tutti! Secondo post per oggi, stavolta voglio presentarvi una card che ho creato per la sfida mensile sul gruppo Facebook Craftin Desert Divas Gallery: ogni mese viene proposta una nuova mood board che serve da ispirazione ai partecipanti per realizzare progetti utilizzando prodotti Craftin Desert Divas. I partecipanti avranno la possibilità di vincere bellissimi premi ogni mese!

Ma veniamo alla card di oggi. La seconda immagine in questo post è la mood board per giugno: ho deciso di seguirne la palette di colori, ma di utilizzare delle tonalità più accese. L’immagine che ho scelto è . È stato letteralmente amore a prima vista! Troppo tenero! Ho stampato l’immagine su del cartoncino Neenah Solar White e l’ho colorata con i miei pennarelli Spectrum Noir. Ho anche aggiunto dei dettagli con la mia penna gel bianca, e ho aggiunto del glitter con la mia Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay penpenna agli uccellini, alle nuvole, ai cuori, e al fiorellino sulla testa del coniglio. Per il cielo ho utilizzato di stress e anche entrambi Blows: l’ho applicato sul sulla mia superficie dal lavoro, l’ho diluito con acqua, e ho dipinto il cielo. Poiché il cartoncino Neenah Solar White non è pensato per essere utilizzato con l’acqua, ho passato una mano leggera di colore per non rovinare la mia card. E penso che il risultato sia davvero bello! 

Dopo aver finito di colorare il mio sfondo, ho tagliato il pannello frontale alla misura di 4×5 1/4″, e ho utilizzato del nastro in schiuma biadesivo per farlo aderire alla base della mia card. Per la base ho utilizzato uno dei fogli della di carta decorata del blocco Spring Things di Doodlebug. Il messaggio proviene dal set Joyful Day, anch’esso di Craftin Desert Divas: l’ho stampato su del cartoncino una sola ruota, l’ho ritagliato con il mio tagliacarte a ghigliottina Tonic Studios, e l’ho incollato alla mia card utilizzando dei foam squares.

E questo è tutto! Una card piuttosto semplice sia dal punto di vista della colorazione che da quello del layout, ma con immagini così carine non serve troppo sforzo per raggiungere bei risultati!
