Hello everyone! Today I am back with my second sneak peek post for the Craftin Desert Divas June release. Today’s card features the Western Bandits stamp set, which will be available for purchase in the CDD shop starting Friday, 23.06 at 3pm, EST.
I think this is such a great set, perfect for masculine cards, and by combining it with the Wild West stamp set, also part of the June release, you have so many possibilities for your projects! And you will see an example of that in today’s card!
But let’s start from the start. To create my background I used the second largest die from the CDD Inside Scalloped Squares. I inked up the frame using Distress Ink in Antique Linen, and I also sponged its edges with Distress Ink in Vintage Photo. After that I moved on to the central panel: I used Distress Inks in Broken China for the sky, and Rusty Hinges for the ground.
I then went ahead and colored my images with Spectrum Noir markers: the lizzard comes from the Western Bandits set, and the saloon is one of the images in the Wild West set. I love to mix and match different stamp sets, I really feel like I am getting the most of out my supplies! And these two sets work perfectly together!
I then cut a strip around one of the sentiments from that same Western Bandits set, I used my scissors to distress its edges, and I sponged it with Distress Ink in Antique Linen. To finish off I cut some white cardstock to the same size as my outside frame, and I glued all the elements in place with my white glue.

RELEASE DI GIUGNO CRAFTIN DESERT DIVAS: CARD FEAT WESTERN BANDITS SET
Ciao a tutti! Oggi sono qui per condividere il mio secondo sneak peek post per la release di giugno di Craftin Desert Divas. La card di oggi è stata realizzata utilizzando immagini dal set Western Bandits, che sarà disponibile sul negozio online Craftin Desert Divas a partire da questo venerdì, 23/06 alle 15 EST. Penso che questo sia davvero un bellissimo set, perfetto per card dal look maschile. E combinandolo con il set Wild West, anch’esso parte della release di giugno, potrete realizzare davvero tantissimi progetti! E vedrete un esempio di quanto appena detto nella card di oggi!
Ma iniziamo con ordine. Per creare il mio sfondo ho utilizzato la seconda fustella più grande del set Inside Scalloped Squares di Craftin Desert Divas. Ho applicato Distress Ink in Antique Linen all’intera cornice, e Distress Ink in Vintage Photo ai bordi della cornice stessa. Per il pannello centrale ho utilizzato Distress Ink in Broken China per il cielo e Rusty Hinges per il terreno.
Ho poi colorato le mie immagini con i pennarelli Spectrum Noir: la lucertola è parte del set Western Bandits, e il saloon è una delle immagini del set Wild West. Amo utilizzare timbri da set diversi nella stessa card: in questo modo sento di sfruttare al massimo i prodotti che possiedo! E questi due set sono perfetti per questo scopo!
Ho poi ritagliato un banner attorno ad uno dei messaggi del set Western Bandits, ho utilizzato le mie forbici per renderne i bordi irregolari, e ho utilizzato Distress Ink in Antique Linen per dare al banner un effetto invecchiato. Per finire ho ritagliato del cartoncino bianco alla stessa dimensione della cornice esterna, e ho fatto aderire tutti i miei elementi alla base della card utilizzando della colla vinilica.
