Hello everyone! Today I am back with another card I made with images from the newly released Craftin Desert Divas March On stamp set. I don’t think there is one single thing I don’t love about this set, it’s so cute!
This card was actually pretty quick to make: for my background I did some ink smooshing with Distress Inks in Broken China and Tumbled Glass on some Ranger watercolor cardstock. I also used a paintbrush to create some splatters with the same color of Distress Inks. I then colored my images with my Prismacolor colored pencils, and I used the Zest-it blending solution to blend the colors together.
For the squared frames I used one of the dies in the Inside Scalloped Squares set by Craftin Desert Divas to cut out some white and some powder blue cardstock. With the same powder blue cardstock I created a rectangular frame for my sentiment banner, as well as my card base. I trimmed down the ink smooshed panel to 4 by 5 1/4″ and glued everything in place. And the cutest thing about this card must be that little bird on the bottom left corner of my card front! As a last step I used my Nuvo Crystal drops in Silver Lining to add some embellishments.
