Hello everyone! Today I wanted to share with you a template for a gatefold card with a treasure map on the inside! The image below includes the measurements for the gatefold card and for the “belt” that will allow the card to stay closed. The outline on the template will allow you to cut and create masks to turn this card in a treasure map. You have a large island on the left, the ocean on the right, and two smaller islands in the middle of the ocean for some added interest.
I also created a .zip file containing two templates that you can download FOR FREE by clicking the button below. One is sized to fit a US letter sized paper sheet, the other one is sized to DIN A4.
The files are meant to be printed with your printer set to “borderless print”. If you cannot find that option you can still use the template, but the printed image will be a little bit smaller compared to the measurements I included in the template, so you might have to do some adjustments your project.
