Hello everyone! Today I am back with a quick post and an even quicker card I made for the MFT Card Design Superstar – Clean and Simple Genius.
Now, am I a CAS genius? Certainly not. But, since I rarely make this style of cards, I thought this would be a fun opportunity to challenge myself. π
So I stamped a few of the images in the MFT Bitty Bears set with black Archival Ink on some Strathmore Bristol Smooth cardstock, and I colored them with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Because I knew I was going to use the striped rainbow paper from the MFT Sweet Celebration 6×6 paper pad, I tried to introduce a hint of a rainbow in the bears too, by coloring the accessories they hold in rainbow order too.
I then heat embossed the sentiment on some black cardstock using Ranger white embossing powder, and I adhered everything flat to my white A2 card base.
For an extra touch I added some sparkle to the bears’s accessories using my Spectrum Noir clear overlay pen. Hopefully I managed to capture some of it in the picture below.
And that’s it! A really quick card, but quite cute, don’t you find? Stay tuned for more fun projects tomorrow and on Thursday, and in the meantime I wish you all a great day! Ciaooo!
