Hello everyone! Today I am back on the Studio Katia blog with a clean window card I made with the Winter Kobi and the Origami Winter stamp sets. I really think this little character is adorable, and I was super happy to see him in a winter outfit 😉
To start off my card I stamped the Kobi image on some Canson XL watercolor cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I colored it with Derwent Inktense pencils, and die cut it with the coordinating dies.
I then cut my card base and the window front from some more watercolor cardstock, using the Darling Ribbon & Dotted Frames and the Creative Stitched Window die sets.
For the inside of the window I created a masked scene. I colored the trees with Inktense Pencils and embossed the snowflakes with white embossing powder. I then did some ink blending on the sky and the snow hill using Distress Inks ink in Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass. I coated the back of the window with acetate and used several layers of cardstock to give it dimension.
I stamped the sentiment from the Origami Winter stamp set using Memento ink in London Fog, and added a ribbon to the top of the window. I die cut it using the Darling Ribbon & Dotted Frames Creative Dies set and colored with Derwent Inktense pencils.
