Hi everyone! It’s time for another challenge over at the Create a Smile blog and I am back with a card and a video inspired by the wonderful mood board that Christine created!
For this card I combined the Lights On! and the Where Your Heart Is clear stamp sets and I created a little scene. I stamped my images on Neenah Solar White cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Spectrum Noir markers. And here is the color chart with all the markers I used
For the background of the scene I used the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables and the Lawn Fawn Grassy Hillside Borders to create the panels for my landscape elements. I added color to these panels using Distress Inks: for the sky I used Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon, and for the grass I used Twisted Citron. I added water droplets for a fun effect.
I mounted everything on an A2 card base, and, to finish off the card, I first added sparkle to the laterns with my Spectrum Noir clear overlay pen, and then added Glossy Accents on the laterns, the van’s door and window, and on the mouse’s little suitcase.

This will be my last post as part of the Create a Smile challenge Design Team, and I want to take the opportunity to thank Christine, the owner, and Ale, the DT coordinator, for this wonderful opportunity and for 6 lovely months with all the other team members too.
