Best Witches – Sugar Pea Designs Mix It Up Challenge

Hi everyone! Today I am back with my inspiration post for the current Mix It Up challenge on the SugarPea Designs blog. If you are not familiar with the challenge, you can enter your projects created following the monthly inspiration board. Projects featuring Sugar Pea Designs products are in for a chance to win a 50$ shopping spree to the SugarPea store. So, without further ado, let’s have a look at the mood board for the month of September
For my card today I was inspired by the colors of the inspiration picture, and decided to use the super cute Bewitched stamp set, which was released just last month.  I stamped the witch and the hat on Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored them with Spectrum Noir markers, and die cut them with the coordinating dies. I also used two of the little bats from the Darling Dragons stamp set
For the card base I used the Card Front Element Builder to cut some watercolor cardstock. On the scalloped rectangle I used the ink smooshing technique and my Distress Oxides in Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon. For the A2 stitched rectangle I did some ink blending with Distress Oxide in Wilted Violet.
I used the Star Dust die to cut some little stars out of some orange cardstock, and, after I had glued them on my background, I coated them with Nuvo Drops in White Blizzard. I also coated the witch’s cloack and hat with my Spectrum Noir clear overlay pen.

I heat embossed my sentiment on some black cardstock with white embossing powder, and I added some Nuvo Drops in Simply White to finish off my card.
And that’s it for today! Make sure to visit the SugarPea designs blog and to enter your projects for your chance to win 50$ to the SugarPea store!
Thank you so much for stopping by, and have a great day!
