Hi everyone! Today I am back with a fun thank you card I created for the Studio Jatia blog using the Best Friends stamp set. This stamp is super cute and this would be the perfect thank you card to send to an animal lover 🙂
As a first step I stamped the image in the set on Neenah Solar White Cardstock and colored it with Spectrum Noir markers.
I then cut the front panel and the background panel out of white cardstock.
For the front panel I used the Dotted Patters Set 1 Creative Dies together with the Dotted Ovals Creative Dies. I used a light grey ink and the Brush Strokes Stamps to add interest to the panel.
For the background I repeated the same steps, this time using the Darling Ribbon & Frames Dies and the Brush Strokes Stripes Stamp Set.
For the sentiment I used the Giving Thanks coordinating dies. I cut the sentiment out of black cardstock and the outline out of white cardstock. I pressed the white die cut on my grey ink to add color and texture, and I glued it on my card front. Unfortunately this set is now retired – I didn’t realize as I was making this card, and I apologize for that- but, if you don’t have it, you can use the coordinating dies to the Mini Thank You stamp set for an equally pretty result. 🙂
I mounted everything on a top-folding A2 card base, and that finished off my card.
