Hi everyone! TodayI am back with a card and a video I made for the C.C. Designs blog, using the C.C. Designs Monster Bash stamp set.
As a first step I stamped my images on Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock with My Favorite Ink Black Licorice Hybrid Ink. I then colored them with my Spectrum Noir markers and fussy cut them with my scissors.
Next up I started working on my background. I used my Gansai Tambi watercolors to create a night sky on a watercolor cardstock panel, and I cut the panel with a circular die by Tonic Studios.
I then used the Lawn Fawn Spooky Fence Border to cut some black cardstock. I turned it into glittery cardstock by doing some heat embossing with Nuvo Shimmering Pearl embossing powder.
I cut some white cardstock to an A2 size using the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables, and I cut a circular opening of the same size as my night sky die cut.
I used the Halloween Dies by C.C. Designs to cut two spiderwebs, and I added some color to them with the My Favorite Things Grout Gray Hybrid Ink. I used that same ink and the smaller images in the C.C. Designs Haunted House stamp set to create my own subtle custom patterned paper.
The result is not very visible in the pictures, but in real life it adds interest to the backround, without stealing attention from the elements in the foreground.
For the sentiment, I die cut some letters out of black cardstock using the C.C. Designs Baggie and Tag die, and formed the word BOO. To finish off the card I added some details with my Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Pen, Glossy Accents and a white gel pen.
I also filmed a video for this card, you can watch it down below! And, if you liked it, you can click the button below to subscribe to my channel! Thank you for your support!
And that’s it for today! I really hope you liked the card and enjoyed the video!
I will be back soon with another fun project, and, in the meantime, I wish you all a great day!
