Hi everyone! Today I am back with a card and a video, for day 4 of the Save the Crafty YouTuber video hop!
If you haven’t heard of it yet, this is a 5 days long event in which crafters from different skill levels share inspiration on YouTube! This is a way for you to discover new creators, and for those creators to work towards achieving their monetization goals. The event is sponsored by lots of generous companies, so there are giveaways at each stop in the hop! More on that later, but for now let’s take a look at today’s card.
The stamp sets I used are the Heffy Doodle Beary Big Heart stamp set, the Heffy Doodle Unbearable Without You stamp set, and the My Favorite Things Mirror Image stamp set. The latter is basically a solid block of photopolimer, and is what will help us achieve a mirrored version of any image.
For my stamping I used My Favorite Things Black Licorice Ink and my Mini MISTI, and for the coloring I used Spectrum Noir markers.
For the background scene I cut some colored cardstock using the Heffy Doodle Clover Frame Dies and the My Favorite Things Grassy Fields Die-Namics. To add interest to the sky I stamped some clouds with one of the stamps in the Heffy Doodle Unbearable Without You stamp set and Lawn Fawn Yeti ink. For the card base I used some patterned paper from the Doodlebug Hello Sunshine 6×6” paper pad.
