Floral Christmas Card feat Studio Katia Poinsettia Trimmings

Hi everyone! Today I am back with a floral Christmas card I created for the Studio Katia blog with the gorgeous Poinsettia Trimmings stamp set.
As a first step I heat embossed both borders in the Poinsettia Trimmings stamp set with Oyster embossing powder and did some very quick watercoloring with Distress Inks. I then added some depth and definition with a red Zig Clean Color Real Brush Marker.

I used the Dotted Patterns Set 3 dies and my scissors to obtain two separate borders. I then die cut some white cardstock with the Dotted Patterns Set 3 dies and some black cardstock with the Darling Ribbon and Frame dies.
For the sentiment I used the word joy from the Merry Poinsettia coordinating dies. I raised the sentiment and the borders on some 3M foam tape, and then moved on to the finishing touches.
I added some Glossy Accents on the sentiment, Nuvo Drops in Ebony Black to create the dot on the letter j, and Nuvo Drops in Bottle Green
to the center of the Poisettias.
