Hi everyone! Today I am back with a Valentine’s day shaker card I created with the Kobi’s Hugs and Kisses stamp set.
I started off the card by creating my background. I used alcohol inks in Poppyfield and Flamingo and the Alcohol Ink Blending Solution to add color to a panel of Yupo Paper. When the inks were completely dry I stamped the florals from the Lovely Blooms Stamp set with Alcohol Lift Ink. As the name says, the ink lifted off the pigments in the stamped areas and created a subtle pattern on the background.
I stamped Kobi and the flower bouquet on Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock with Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copics and Spectrum Noir Markers. I then die cut them with the Kobi’s Hugs and Kisses Coodinating Dies and moved on to creating my shaker.
For the shaker front I die cut some white and gray cardstock with the Dotted Patterns Set 1 and the Dotted Patterns Set 3 dies. I also die cut the alcohol ink background with the Darling Ribbon & Frames dies. I backed the shaker front with clear acetate and added lots of sequins in colors matching the color scheme of the card.
I then used one of the dies in the Dotted Patterns Set 2 to cut a banner for my sentiment. I cut a white and a gray banner, and glued them to each other, offsetting them slighty in order to create a drop shadow effect. The sentiment for you is from the Kobi’s Hugs and Kisses stamp set, and was stamped with Memento Ink in Love Letters.
And that’s my card for today! I really hope you liked it, and I hope I inspired you to create with the adorable Kobi’s Hugs and Kisses stamp set! Thank you all so much for stopping by, and have a great day!
