Hello crafty friends! Today I am on the Impronte d’Autore blog with a super fun card I created with the set Dinos by Impronte d’Autore! I adore these adorable dinos, and finally I had the chance to use them to create today’s project!
If you know me a bit, you will know that I love creating scene cards, so here it is…a prehistoric scene card for you guys! 😋
As a first step I started workign on my background. For the sky I die cut some white cardstock, first with the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables and then with the Stitched Cloud Backdrop Landscape Dies. I created a color gradient by blending Distress Oxides with my Mini Blending Foams. I used Ripe Persimmon, Dried Marigold and Scattered Straw.
I then moved on and created my hill. For that I used the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables and the Speech Bubble Border Die. The shape of the speech bubble was just perfect for my hill, I just needed to trim off the pointy bit with my scissors.
Also in this case i blended Distress Oxides to add color and dimension to my die cut panel, and I used Pine Needles, Lucky Clover and Twisted Citron.
I then moved on to my images, that I stamped with the help of Stella, the stamp platform by Impronte d’Autore, and colored with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I chose complementary colors to the ones I had used on my background so that my dinos would pop. Once I was done coloring, I die cut the images with the coordinating dies and my beloved Sidekick machine.
I die cut a polaroid frame with the Selfie Frames dies by Lawn Fawn and I glued everything on a top-folding A2 card base with my Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.
