Distress Ink Stenciled Rainbow – Handmade Card feat C.C. Designs Cute Birds

Hi everyone! It’s release day over at C.C. Designs, and today I am sharing a super bright card I created with the new Cute Birds stamps and the Clouds and Grasses Stencil!

The new release is available starting today on the C.C. Designs store, you can take a look here!

For this card I started by creating a stenciled rainbow with the new Clouds and Grasses Stencil and Distress Inks.

I used (from bottom to top) Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin, Candied Apple, Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, Blueprinte Sketch, Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron.

I then pushed my Spectrum Noir clear overlay pen to release some of the sparkly solution on my work surface, and used that to add some droplets to the background.

I stamped the images from the cute birds with Scrapbook.com Premium Hybrid Black ink on Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock and colored them with Spectrum Noir Markers. I then die cut them with the coordinating dies.

I die cut some white cardstock with the Stitched Collage Frame Die-namics by MFT and glued it over my background. I embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder over a strip of black cardstock and composed my little scene.
I added glossy accents to the glasses, beaks and feet of each bird, coated the butterflies with a Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Pen and added nuvo Jewel drops all over the background. I used Limoncello, Strawberry Coulis, Pale Periwinkle and Key Lime.

I mounted everything on a top-folding A2 card base and that finished off my card.

Before I go, I wanted to remind you that the new C.C. Designs release is now available for purchase on the C.C. Designs store! Happy shopping! πŸ˜‰
