I started with Winter and I created a fun scene, combining the stamp sets with the Kingdom Trio Dies and the Hello Friend Script dies. For all the cards in this series I will be using some of my favorite crafty supplies – namely Spectrum Noir Markers and Distress Oxides.
I also created a color chart for you, with a list of all the markers I used to color my images. You can Pin it for your reference, if you like.
For the sky background I used the rectangle Die in the Cloud Nine set and die cut some Bristol Smooth Cardstock. I did some ink blending with Distress Oxides in Blueprint Sketch, Shaded Lilac and Tumbled Glass. I added some white acrylic droplets to mimic the effect of falling snow.
I then die cut some more Bristol Smooth cardstock using again the Cloud Nine dies, in combination with the Kingdom Trio dies. I created three layers and shaded them with Distress Oxides in Weathered Wood and Black Soot, and with the Lawn Fawn Yeti Pigment Ink.
To create the effect of snow I embossed the top edges of the die cuts with Wow White Puff embossing powder. This is perfect for snow as, once you heat it up, it puffs up and creates some fun dimension.
For the sentiment I used the Hello Friend Script die. I layered some white cardstock with a sheet of craft foam and ran everything through my die cutting machine, to create a dimensional sentiment.
To do that I used stick it adhesive. The layers are cardstock – stick it – craft foam – stick it. It’s super easy and I love the effect of the craft foam!

What a fun card! And, with gray being all the rage, it sure catches my eye. My grandson would go gaga over this card! Thanks for sharing your design!
