Spellbinders Decorative Glimmer Hot Foil Blog Hop + Giveaway|

Hi everyone! Today I am part of a fun blog hop to celebrate the beautiful Spellbinders Decorative Glimmer Hot Foil collection! This collection is really beatiful, I had a lot of fun creating today’s cards…and, bonus points, they were super quick to make!

For the first one I foiled some FSJ Tin Pail cardstock with the Citrine Hot Foil Roll and the Flower Border Glimmer Hot Foil Plate. I then used the FSJ Circle Around dies to die cut an opening in the panel.

I dry embossed some white cardstock with the Flower Pattern Glimmer Hot Foil plate, and layered it on my card front using one layer of foam tape. It is not so visible in the pictures, but in real life it makes a big difference.

For the sentiment I used the brand new plates from the Glimmer Hot Foil July Kit of the Month. This is a subscription kit, you can find all the details here, if you are interested. I think it is great value (the plates come with coordinating dies, too), and the designs never disappoint.

To finish off the card I added some green crystals, that match the foil color.

For my second card I used the Flower Pattern Glimmer Hot Foil on some Buttercream cardstock. The color of foil I chose is called Blush, and I felt it matched the color scheme really nicely.

This glimmer hot foil plate is absolutely stunning, and is sufficient by itself to create wonderful cards! As you can see, I did some foiling, matted my panel with some Peaches&Cream cardstock, and added a sentiment.

For the sentiment I used another of the plates in the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month, they are so pretty! I added some color to the florals with just a few strokes, using my Marvy Uchida pastel markers.

I popped the sentiment over a layer of foam tape, and that finished off my card.

And now, let’t talk about giveaways!

Amazingly beautiful cards with very little effort. Letting the foiling do the job and with very little coloring done they still look fantastic.

Thanks for Sharing Your Thoughts! :)
