Hey everyone! Today I am back to share with you a Christmas card and a little preview of the upcoming Impronte d’Autore release. Trust me, it’s going to be amazing!
Today’s card is made with die cuts only and does not require any coloring (something unusual for me, but I couldn’t resiste this Rudy!). Instead, I added color to the different die cuts using my Distress Inks. You can start from colored cardstock, if you prefer, and your card will be even faster to make.
For my background I used Distress Inks Pine Needles, Evergreen Bough, Lucky Clover and Cracked Pistachio. I added some droplets with the same Distress Inks, with some water and with a Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Pen. To die cut the panel I used the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables dies.
I created some cute little gifts with the Pacco Regalo (gift package) die by Impronte d’Autore. I blended Distress Inks in Candied Apple and Mustard Seed, adding some droplets to the box. I then coated the ribbon with a Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Pen and my Glossy Accents.
It was then time to work on my little Rudy the Reindeer. I used Tea Dye and Vintage Photo on its body, Vintage Photo and Ground Espresso on its antlers and feet, and Mustard Seed and Candied Apple on its nose and his collar.
Lastly, I die cut the sentiment and its outline from some white and black cardstock. I coated both with a Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay pen and the black die cuts with…guess what? Glossy Accents!
I know, I am a little obsessed, but look at how beautiful the result is!
I almost forgot…I used a white gel pen to add some white highlights to Rudy, which I then raised over my card base with some foam squares!
One last picture of the finished card before I go…
