Spellbinders March 2020 Clubs Inspiration Blog Hop

Spellbinders Baby Farm Animals and Stamp of the Month Card

Hi everyone! Today I am super excited to be part of a fun blog hop to celebrate the Spellbinders March 2020 Club Kits! You may have seen the card I made with the Stamp of the Month Kit, and today I am here to bring you even more inspiration!

I will give you more details about the hop and the giveaways at the end of this post, but for now let’s have a look at today’s card

Spellbinders Baby Farm Animals and Stamp of the Month Card

I started by stamping and coloring the cat and the dog in the Spellbinders/FSJ Baby Farm Animals stamp set. This is not part of any subscription and can be purchased on the Spellbinders store at any time. I personally find it really adorable! For the coloring, as in most of the cases, I used my Spectrum Noir Illustrator Markers.

BACKGROUND

For my card today I went for a more clean and simple look, compared to my usual style. I die cut some Cool Pool cardstock with the Circle Around dies and I did some tone on tone ink blending. I used Cool Pool ink, some blending brushes and the Cane Weave Stencil.
I also die cut some white cardstock using the Lucky Clouds dies.

SENTIMENT AND FINISHING TOUCHES

For the greeting on my card I used stamps in the Spellbinders/FSJ Stamp of the Month Kit. I first stamped the word Love with Watermelon Fusion ink on a white cardstock banner. I then glued it to a larger banner that had I cut out of some Watemelon Fusion Cardstock (all matchy-matchy!).
For the second part of the greeting I stamped the sentence is all you need on a second banner, this time cut out of some Pineapple Smoothie cardstock.

I adhered everything to a top folding A2 card base, raising the focal panel over some foam tape. I finished off the card with some white enamel accents scattered around the images.

I am not sure if my comment went though….it took a LONG TIME, and then I’m still not sure. Anyway, I LOVE your pets card. They are adorable.

Oh my goodness, this is such a cute card. I love the background design, the creative use of sentiments, and the adorable critters!

  3. Scraporcraft

I like the showing of the animals. Good layering and grouping. I tried to go to the other card you linked, but it took me to a not found page.

  4. Barbie Williams

I don’t know which one is cuter! I love the kitty, as I have lots of cats, but I also LOVE the beard on the dog! So adorable! I am not in the stamp club, but thank you so much for sharing your inspiration with us. It is so nice to see all of these great card ideas.
