Hi everyone! Today I am back with a fun slimline summer card that I created with products from the latest LDRS release! And since I love mixing and matching, I also threw in a couple of older sets, too! Make sure to check out the video at the end of this post, too, for a step by step tutorial!
Slimline cards are so fun and really popular these days, and for this card I used the brand new Slim Line Corner Scallop Die Set by LDRS Creative. I die cut some watercolor cardstock and used the At the Beach and By the Sea dies to create the elements for my scene.
I then did some ink blending with LDRS Creative Inks to add color to the elements. I used Marina Madness for the Sky, Pistachios a Plenty and Tropical Sea for the ocean, and for the beach I combined Banana Cream Pie and Iced Tea. I created some droplets with Perfect Pearls in different colors to add some shimmer to the project.
The images I chose for my card are part of the Up the Rabbit Hole, Down the Rabbit Hole, Broadwalk Mice and Explore and Discover stamp sets. I colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markes and die cut them with the coordinating dies.
I mounted everything on my card base, that I created with the Slim Line Corner Scallop Die Set and ink blended with Tickled Pink ink. I adhered the Love You sentiment and that finished off my card.
