Heffy Doodle & Time For Tea Designs Collaboration Blog Hop

Hi everyone! Today I am back with a card I created for the Heffy Doodle and Time for Tea Designs collaboration blog hop! I love the style of these companies and, as you can see in my card, their products work so well together!

Stay tuned for more info about the hop and the giveaways at the end of this post, but for now, let’s have a look at how I made this card!

Card Background

For the background of the card I used the Heffy Doodle Imperial Stitched Rectangles and the Say Cheese Cover Plate Die by Time for Tea Designs. I cut some yellow and brown cardstocks and I glued the panels together.

Sentiment

I also went ahead and die cut my sentiment from the same colors of cardstock, using the Time for Tea Designs Dream Big Sentiment Dies. The die cuts the sentiment and a little outline, too – I glued the pieces together and then I adhered them to the front of my card.

Images

For my images I used the Hello Squeekheart Stamp set by Heffy Doodle. I stamped the images with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Proof Black Ink and I colored them with Illustrator Markers. Here is the list of markers I used

  • Mice: BG3, BG1
  • Cheese: BO4, BO3, BO1, GY2

Once I was done coloring, I die cut everything with the coordinating dies.

Finishing Touches

I then finished off my card by adhering all the images and added a few pearls for some extra shine and detail.
