Fun with Stencils | Waffle Flower Stencil Release Hop

Hi everyone! Today I am back with a super fun set of cards that I created with the new Waffle Flower Release!
If you haven’t seen all the amazing new products, you can find them here!

These cards are part of a hop with giveaways, so stay tuned for that!

Card 1: Fall Card with Ink Blended Background

For my first card today I used the Fall for You Stencil-n-Stamp set ( WFF | SSS )

I did some ink blending through the stencil with Distress Oxides in Peacock Feathers, Mustard Seed and Crackling Campfire. I then used the coordinating stamp set to add detail to the leaves.

The focal images for this card come from the Books & Coffee Stamp Set ( WFF | SBC ) – such an adorable set and a must have, if you ask me! πŸ˜‰

Card 2: Creative Use of Stencils

For my second card I used again the Fall for You Stencil-n-Stamp set ( WFF | SSS ), but this time in a bit of a more creative way.

I knew that I wanted to use the Sweets Stamp Set ( WFF ) and I thought that if I used a colorful palette, those leaves could turn into candy!

So I used Distress Oxides in Spun Sugar, Peacock Feathers and Picked Raspberry and I embossed the background with clear glitter embossing powder!

I think that the card turned out super fun and I loved finding a way to stretch this gorgeous layering stencil, so that I can use it all year round!

Card 3: Night Scene with Ink Blended Clouds

For my third card today I created a night scene with the Sky Scene Stencil – Waffle Flower( SSS | WFF ). I used again Distress Oxides, this time in Chipped Sapphire, Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass. For the stars I used Metallic Gold ink by Spectrum Noir.

I added a couple of cute images from the the Little Fairies Stamp Set ( WFF | SBC | SSS ) and there you have it! A lovely birthday card ready to brighten someone’s day!

Card 4: Winter Scene with Lots of Texture

For my fourth card today I created another scene, this time with lots of texture!

I used the Pine Trees Stencil ( WFF | SSS ) and the Sky Scene Stencil( SSS | WFF ) with Ranger Texture Paste and Modascrap Fluffy in the color Sunshine

For the sky I used Distress Oxides in Black Soot, Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Cracked Pistachio.

The images are part of the Books & Coffee Stamp Set ( WFF | SBC ) and the sentiment comes from the Holiday Thanks Stamp Set ( WFF | SSS | SBC )

I really love the Christmas card with the little woodland animals.
so cute, and wonderful job on the ink blending.
It’s really hard to pick a favorite because they are all so nice, thanks for sharing!

  2. Lisa Achilles

These cards are so creative. The leaves stencil used for candy? Who would have thought of that? Not me. Thanks for sharing your talent.

  3. dorothyayotte

Fabulous cards. They just make me smile, especially the fun candy card! And the bear sipping his coffee looks awesome with those fall leaves behind him- just perfect! The other 2 cards have such great backgrounds and layers that enhance those darling figures.

  4. Anne Sturgeon

Books and Coffee, yes please! This is one of my favorites. Paired with the lovely leaves, perfect. Great stencils in this release, lots to ponder…

You have made amazing cards. I live the night scene, looks great. The idea of changing color pallete and using left stencil as candy is cool.

Thanks for Sharing Your Thoughts! :)
