If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that I recently got the chance to play around with the new Heidi Swapp Blush Memory Dex.
This is an exclusive for Scrapbook.com and if you are interested you can take a look at it here!
There are so many ways to use it, and I decided to create mini art pieces to keep on my desk. They will provide me with inspiration and will be there to make me smile.
There are dies you can purchase to create your cards, but I decided to look at my stash to see if I could find something I already had and get creating right away!
Well, it turns out that the Lawn Fawn Journaling dies are just PERFECT for DIY Memodex Cards! Here’s how to do it!
DIY MEMORYDEX CARDS
Use the rectangular die in the Lawn Fawn Journaling dies to cut your cardstock of choice. Here I used watercolor cardstock, because I wanted to create my own background
I love that the die has rounded corners and that it adds a stitched detail!
And you know what? If you cut a strip of cardstock with the short side of that die, you can create a tab to add to your card!
Next, you want to use the Memorydex Hole Punch to punch holes in your card, so that it can slide on the guides of the Memorydex.
The punch has guides to line everything up and the Lawn Fawn die I used is just the perfect size.
And here’s the card ready to be decorated!
For mine I used Distress Inks, the Doodlebug Forest Friends Stamps and the Scrapbook.com Sunshiney Day stamp set!
By the way, the Scrapbook.com Sunshiney Day stamp set!, like ALL Scrapbook.com exclusives are up to 50% OFF right now! Click here to check them out and let Santa know! π
