Hi everyone! I hope your 2021 is off to a good start! Mine was a bit bumpy, so this card really comes at the right time!
It was created with the new Altenew Paint a Flower: Camelia Outline stamp set, which is gorgeous! Just look how beautiful this floral image is! I also really love the sentiments – Altenew always has great ones!
You can get the stamp by itself or as part of the Paint a Flower Monthtly Subscription Plan. When signed up, you are guaranteed a spot in the monthly Paint-A-Flower releases and will receive a set each month – at a specially discounted price. Y0u can learn more here.
For my card today, I decided to go for a no line coloring look and used my Karin Brushmarker Pro on Canson XL Watercolo cardstock. They work great together!
I went for a no line look and blended out the colors with a waterbrush. I then used my Prismacolor Pencils to add some texture to the colored images.
I mounted everything on a base made out of kraft carstock, for a bit of a rustic touch.
To add more detail, I splattered some white acrylic paint on the panel, creating some fine droplets.
I stamped part of the sentiment directly on the panel (scary, I know! But this is where my MISTI really makes the difference!). For the rest of my greeting I did some heat embossing with white embossing powder.
For such a delicate font a fine detail embossing powder is really crucial – I learned it the hard way! π
