Hi everyone! Today I am back with another card for Jenn Shurkus’ Get Cracking on Christmas! Every month we create one Christmas card so that when the holiday season comes we are not caught empty-handed!

SCENE BUILDING
This card features a one-layer scene created with the Mama Elephant Snow Much Fun [ SSS | ELH ] and Scene Builder [ SSS | ELH ] stamp sets. I tried to create depth and interest by stamping the images at different heights on my panel and by stamping the trees partially off the page.
The panel is some Neenah Solar White cardstock that I cut to 3.5×5 inches and for the coloring, I used my Illustrator alcohol markers. You can visit my Instagram profile to see the list of markers I used
SENTIMENT AND CARD BASE
Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Scripty Xmas Stamps by Mama Elephant [ SSS ] and I outlined it with one of my Illustrator markers.
For my card base I used an old technique to create a woodgrain pattern with Distress Inks in the colors Shaded Lilac, Spun Sugar and Weathered Wood. You can have a look at how to create this tecnhique on this video here.
