Digital stamps are an affordable and versatile alternative to physical stamps. I talked about them in a recent video and if you find digital stamps intimidating, you should definitely check it out. I will show that you don’t need to be techy at all in order to use them!
CHOOSING THE RIGHT PRINTER
Choosing the right printer is another important step, as that will determine what we can do with our digis. Can we use alcohol markers? Can we use watercolors? What cardstock can we print on?
I have done a fair amount of research and I found what for me is the BEST PRINTER when it comes to card making and digital stamps.
It is a Canon Pixma and I love it! I can use water based media, alcohol markers and print on heavy cardstock, up to 300 gsm! It’s amazing!
I even found some compatible ink cartridges that work great and keep the running costs low!
I talk about it more in this video right here
SELECTING THE RIGHT INK
As I mentioned, this printer has two ink tanks and you want to select one or the other based on what medium you want to use.
And since there is no explicit setting that allows you to pick one of the two inks, I made another video in which I show you the print settings you need to use
