Alright guys, I’m gonna be honest with you. I had it all planned out – a nice thank you card for the last day of the daily marker 30 day coloring challenge. I wanted to dedicate it to Kathy Racoosin and all the Good Will Ambassadors, who organized the challenge and kept it going. So here I was: the card was ready, the pictures had been shot and edited, my hands were on the keyboard…”Hello guys! Today I am back with my card for day 31 of the daily marker 30 day challenge!”…wait a minute…day 31 of The-Daily-Marker-THIRTY-Day…-.-‘ Oh, well, I guess the intention still counts, right?
Anyways, let’s not dwell too long on my counting skills, and let’s get to the card, which was really quick and easy to make.
For the background I used Canson watercolor cardstock and Distress Inks in mermaid lagoon, cracked pistachio and a very diluted fossilized amber. Ink smooshing is so much fun, and yields really interesting results!
The elephant and the butterflies belong to the MFT Adorable Elephants set, and the Thank You die is also by MFT. I had never used that die before, and I hadn’t realized how thin and delicate it is – I adore it!
To color the elephant I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and for the butterflies I used some more Fossilized Amber. I added some dot details to the butterflies’ wings with a white gel pen and coated them, the sentiment, and the black frame with my Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen.

CARD DI RINGRAZIAMENTO CON TIMBRI E FUSTELLE MFT
Ok ragazzi, sarò onesta. Era tutto pianificato – una card di ringraziamento per l’ultimo giorno della The Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge. La volevo dedicare a Kathy Racoosin e a tutti i Good Will Ambassadors, che hanno organizzato e mandato avanti la challenge.
Era tutto pronto: card realizzata, foto scattate, e mani sulla tastiera: “Ciao a tutti! Eccomi tornata con un nuovo progetto per il giorno 31 della The Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge”…aspetta un momento…il giorno 31 della 30 days coloring challenge…?! -.-‘

Ma stendiamo un velo pietoso su questo piccolo incidente di percorso e veniamo alla card di oggi, davvero facile e veloce da realizzare.
Per lo sfondo ho usato del cartoncino da acquerelli Canson e i Distress Ink nei colori mermaid lagoon, cracked pistachio e fossilized amber, che ho diluito molto. La tecnica dell’ink smooshing è davvero divertente e produce dei risultati molto particolari! L’elefantino e le farfalle appartengono al set Adorable Elephants di MFT, e la fustella con cui ho ricavato la scritta Thank You è anch’essa di MFT. Era la prima volta che la utilizzavo e non mi ero resa conto che fosse così sottile e delicata – la adoro! Per colorare l’elefante ho utilizzato i miei Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, e le farfalle sono dipinte con il Distress Ink nel colore fossilized amber. Ho aggiunto dei dettagli alle ali con una penna gel bianca, e ho ricoperto le farfalle, la scritta e la cornice nera con del glitter utilizzando la mia Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen. E questo è tutto per il post di oggi. Con questa card partecipo sia alla Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge che alla Color Throwdown challenge – spero che i colori che ho scelto non si discostino troppo da quelli proposti, ma ho utilizzato ciò che avevo a disposizione 🙂
