Using Tags on Your Cards feat Craftin Desert Divas Freshly Squeezed Digital Stamp

Hello everyone! Today I am back with a card I made for the monthly Mood Board Challenge over at the Craftin Desert Divas Gallery Facebook group.

I instantly fell in love with the Freshly Squeezed digi set that came out with the June release, so I was very happy to finally get the chance to play with it a little! I printed the images on some Bristol Smooth cardstock and cut them using my Silhouette Portrait, before coloring them with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. The lemonade stand and the sign are from the Freshly Squeezed digi set, and the sun is from the Sunny Smiles set. I had initially intended to make a whole scene using these images, but then I though it would be fun if my scene was instead a tag on my card. So I used the Craftin Desert Divas Shaker Tag dies to cut some pastel blue and green cardstock, and I used one of the dies from the Outdoor Landscape die set to create a hillside on my green cardstock cut out. I used the cloud die from the Rainbow Die set to cut some white cardstock, and I assembled everything together. I also ran some ribbon through the eyelet of my tag for an extra fun touch.
For my card base I took a piece of white cardstock cut at a standard A2 size. I used the largest die from the Fancy Frames die set to cut one of the patterned papers in the Doodlebug Hello Sunshine 6×6 paper pad, and the second largest die from the same die set to cut some more white cardstock. I glued the scalloped patterned paper and the stitched white panel onto my card base using some liquid glue, and then I glued my tag using some foam tape. As a final touch I added a few sequins from the Citrus Bliss mix to my card front. This time I decided not to add a sentiment and to leave this as a card that would be good for any occasion: I just need to take it out of my stash, write a nice message on the inside, and give it to someone hoping to brighten their day!
And that’s it for today’s post! Don’t forget that you can enter your projects in the monthly mood board challenge for a chance to win great prizes in the Craftin Desert Divas shop! Make sure you check the challenge guidelines, and get crafty! We look forward to seeing your great creations!
As always, I hope you liked my card and enjoyed this post, and I wish you all a great day! Ciaooo!
