Halloween 2017 Card Making Series – Creating Scenes Using Patterned Paper feat Lawn Fawn Costume Party

Halloween-card-with-patterned-paper-Lawn-Fawn-Costume-Party

Hello everyone! Today I am back with a card I made for this week’s Funday Friday Challenge over at the Jo’s Scrap Shack blog. The sponsor for this challenge is Lawn Fawn, and I thought it was the perfect occasion to use the Costume Party stamp set, that I got in one of my recent crafty hauls, and hadn’t had the chance to use yet! I picked three images from the set, stamped them on some Neenah Solar White cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored them with Spectrum Noir markers.

I also thought it would be nice to use patterned paper to create the background elements for the scene on my card – it adds a finished touch to the card, but keeps the card making process rather quick. I used papers from the Lawn Fawn Watercolor Wishes and Perfectly Plaid Rainbow 6×6″ paper pads.
This card came together rather quickly, and I really like the soft look of it πŸ™‚ I will also be entering this card in the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge – Anything Goes.

If you want to know more about the cardmaking process you can watch the video tutorial on my YouTube channel by clicking on this link! And don’t forget to let me know what you think about it!

And that’s it for today’s post! I really hope you liked my card and enjoyed my video! Remember that you can join the Funday Friday Challenge (the theme is Anything Goes) for your chance to win one stamp set and one 6×6″ paper pad from Lawn Fawn (US residents only)! Just make sure to follow the challenge guidelines included at the end of this post, and get crafty!

I will be back soon with another fun project, and in the meantime I wish you all a great day!
