Hi everyone! Today I am back with a card featuring the gorgeous Blooming Trio stamp set, which This is the result of the collaboration between Studio Katia and Simon Says Stamp for Stamptember 2017. This also means that once this set sells out, it’s gone forever! So if you’d like to get your hands on it, you might want to do it fast, or you might be disappointed (ask me how I know about it that!).
For this card I white embossed the image on some Ranger watercolor cardstock, and I did some watercoloring using my Gansai Tambi watercolors. To add some shine to the card, I added a second layer of color, this time using the Gansai Tambi Pearl Colors, and I think this touch made the card even more special!
I then took some Canson watercolor cardstock and did some ink blending with Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar. I cut a frame out of this ink blended panel using the Studio Katia Dotted Patterns Set – 1 and the Darling Ribbon & Dotted Frames, and I glued it on top of my watercolored panel.
For the sentiment I cut some black cardstock using the “hello” die in the set that coordinates with the “You are so Ranunculus” stamp set, also by Studio Katia. I adhered it to my card using some Multi Medium Matte by Ranger, and, for a finishing touch, I added a few Ocean Wave Crystals.
