25 Days of Christmas Tags with Studio Katia

Hello everyone! Today I am really excited to be back on the blog with a tag trio I made for Tracey McNeely’s 25 days of Christmas Tags as part of the Studio Katia design team! How great is that?
For my tags today I used images from the Friends of Winter stamp set. I stamped them on some Windsor and Newton Drawing paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored them with Prismacolor pencils, and cut them with the coordinating dies.

For the tags I cut some Windsor and Newton Cotman watercolor cardstock using both dies in the Dottet Shaker Tag 2 set. I wanted to go for an inlaid die cut look, and I decided to leave the outside panel white, and to do some emboss resist on the inside one.

I heat embossed three different sentiments from the Friends of Winter stamp set with silver embossing powder, and did some ink blending using Distress Inks. I used Candied Apple for the elf tag, Mermaid Lagoon for the Santa tag, and Mowed Lawn for the Rudolph tag. I threaded some twine through the eyelet of the tags, and, for an additional fun touch, I added some red jingle bells!

And that’s it for today! I really hope you enjoyed the post, and I hope you like these inlaid die cut tags! You can check Tracey’s post for all the info about the 25 days of Christmas tags, and how you can participate for your chance to win prizes from all the great sponsors!

I will be back soon with another fun project, and in the meantime I wish you all a great day!
