Holiday 2017 Card Making Series – Card and Coordinating Tag feat C.C. Designs – Spotlight on the Tag

Hello everyone! Today I am back with a card I made with a super cute digi by C.C. Designs. I also created a card which matches with this tag – you can read about it here. 

For this tag I printed one of the images from the Roberto’s Rascals Snowmen Kids set on some Neenah Desert Storm cardstock with my Canon Pixma printer. I also printed the same exact image on some re-positionable packaging labels, as this would allow me to create masks later on.

First off, I cut my tag using the I used the largest die in the Lawn Fawn Tag You’re It set. I then colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and masked it off before moving on to the background. I blended Distress Oxides in Faded Jeans and Black Soot on the sky. For the snowy hill and the snowfall I used Lawn Fawn Yeti white pigment ink together with two stencils by My Favorite Things: the Drifts and Hills stencil, and the Snowfall stencil.
