Hello everyone! Today I am back with a clean and simple card I made for Studio Katia, as part of the Winter 2017 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. Today also marks the beginning of the countdown for the new release (yay!), and because Studio Katia is one of the sponsors for the blog hop, we are featuring the new Sweet Latte stamp set and the Scripted Coffee Creative Die. These products will be available for purchase in the Studio Katia blog starting Friday, December 15th.
For my card today I colored the moka and the coffee cup images from the Sweet Latte stamp using my Spectrum Noir markers. I then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.
For the card base I used some Doodlebug patterned paper from the Kraft in Color 6×6” paper pad. I cut the base using the Darling Ribbon and Dotted Frames Creative Dies, and I trimmed down a strip of striped patterned paper with my guillotine trimmer. I used the strip ground my images in the card design.
For the sentiment I combined the Sweet Latte set and the Scripted Coffee Creative Die. I die cut the word “Coffee” from some brown card stock, and stamped the “but first” sentiment using Memento Dew Drops in Toffee Crunch.
For a finishing touch I added some Nuvo Drops in Dark Walnut.
