Quick Prismacolor Shading – Floral Card feat Studio Katia Floral Trimmings

Hi everyone! Today I am back with a card I made for the Studio Katia blog using the gorgeous Floral Trimmings stamp set.
To start off this card I embossed the two stamps that come in the set with rose gold embossing powder on some Strathmore Toned Gray paper. I then colored the images with a white prismacolor in the shadow areas.  I trimmed the two panels with my scissors and with the rectangle die in the Dotted Patterns: Darling Ribbon Creative Dies set.

I created my card base from some white cardstock using the same rectangle die from the Dotted Patterns: Darling Ribbon Creative Dies, and I stamped the images in the Floral Trimmings  set with Versamark Ink, in order to create a subtle background. I then popped the two embossed panels on top of my card base with foam tape.

For my sentiment I used the Best Ever | Clear Stamp Set and coordinating dies. I created my own rose gold cardstock using the embossing powder I had used for my stamps, and I used that cardstock for the outline of the words “best” and “ever”. The word “mom” is embossed with white embossing powder over some Strathmore Toned Gray cardstock.

And that’s it for today! I really hope you like this card, and I hope I inspired you to create with the beautiful Floral Trimmings stamp set. Thank you all so much for stopping by, and have a great day!
