Hi everyone! Today I am really excited to be back with this post, part of the Studio Katia March Release Blog Hop! This is a two-day celebration with tons of inspiration and prizes along the way, so make sure to read this post until the end to find out more!
For my project today I used images from the Whimsical Town set, which is one of my favorite sets in this amazing release!
I created the background panel by blending Distress Oxides in Blueprint Sketch and Shaded Lilac over some Bristol Smooth Cardstock. I added water droplets for a fun look.
I then colored the houses and the clouds from the Whimsical Town set with Spectrum Noir markers and die cut them with the coordinating dies. I adhered some of them flat onto my background, and I raised a few with some foam tape.
I popped up the panel on my card base with some craft foam, and framed it with some gray cardstock strips. I added white gel pen highlights to the houses, and scattered a lot of the gorgeous, newly released Iridescent Bubbles all over the sky.
I stamped the sentiment on the inside of the card, and I also stamped a few houses around it with Memento ink in London Fog.
