Encouragement Card feat Studio Katia Best Friends

Hi everyone! It’s Laura here, and I am back with an ecouragement card I made for the Studio Katia blog using the Best Friends Stamp Set.
To start off this card I stamped the large image in the set on some Canson XL watercolor cardstock using Versafine Onyx Black ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I then colored the images with Derwent Inktense Pencils, creating a little scene for these adorable pets.

I then cut down the panel with one of the dies in the Dotted Patterns – Loops Creative Dies. This left me with a larger piece, where my scene is, and a thin dotted frame.
For my card base I cut some brown cardstock using the rectangle die in the Darling Ribbon and Dotted Frames Creative Dies. I glued the frame flush on my card base and popped up the main panel on some craft foam for some added dimension.

For my sentiment I used the Label Messages Stamp Set: I stamped the label that reads “you’re the best” with brown ink, embossed it with clear embossing powder, and die cut it with the coordinating dies.
And that’s it for today! I really hope you like this card and I hope I inspired you to create with the adorable Best Friends Stamp set. Thank you all so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Laura

Such a cute stamp. You colored it beautifully and framed it quite lovely. I like that you used colored pencils. I do very little stamping, so I just use my kid's colored pencils.
