CC Designs August 2018 Release

Hi everyone! It’s release day over at C.C. Designs, and I am back to show you a sweet shaker card I created using the new Dragons stamp set! The new release is absolutely adorable and these dragons are irresistible! I can’t wait to create more cards with them!
For this one I went for a shaker. I stamped one of the images in the set with Versafine Onyx Black ink on some watercolor cardstock, embossed it with clear embossing powder, and colored it with my Derwent Inktense Pencils. I then die cut the images with the coordinating dies.
I also created a color chart, in case you’d like to use it as a reference 🙂
For the shaker background I did some ink blending with Distress Inks and a cloud stencil. I used Fired Brick, Candied Apple, Ripe Persimmon, Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade.

For the shaker front I cut some white cardstock using a stitched rectangle die, and cut a circular opening on the top third of the panel. I then used a circular frame die to cut some turquoise glitter carstock that will accent the shaker and add some more sparkle to the card.

I filled my shaker with iridescent and white iridescent sequins and mounted it on a top-folding A2 card base. The sentiment comes from the Dragon set, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. I stamped it on the bottom third of my front panel and used some newly release Dragon Dreams Enamel Dots to accent it.
