Masculine Card with No Coloring | SugarPea Designs Mix it Up Challenge

Hi everyone! Today I want to share with you this card I made for the current Mix it Up challenge on the SugarPea Designs blog!
For my card today I followed both the sketch and the colors in the inspiration photo, and I created a card with no coloring, and with mostly die-cuts.
For the card base I cut some white cardstock to an A2 size using the SugarPea Designs Card Front Element Builder Dies. I created my own subtle patterned paper by repeatedly stamping one of the stars in the Seeing Stars Stamp Set with some light grey ink.
For the circular frame I die cut some more white cardstock using two dies from the Zig Zag Stitched Circles dies. I then used the Stacked Stars to cut lots of stars of different sizes, and in colors matching the ones in the inspiration photo of the challenge.
I raised the circular frame over the card base with some fun foam, and adhered the stars all around it.

I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder over some black cardstock, and, for some finishing details, I added some Nuvo Drops in Morning Dew.

And that’s my card for today!  Make sure to visit the SugarPea designs blog and to enter your projects  featuring SDP products for your chance to win 50$ to the SugarPea store!
Thank you so much for stopping by, and have a great day!
