25 Days of Christmas Tags feat Studio Katia

Hi everyone! Today I am back with a fun card I created with Studio Katia products for Tracey McNeeley’s 25 Days of Christmas tags. Tags are really fun and quick to make, and adding a handmade tag to your Christmas presents will make them even more special!

For this tag I used the fun penguins from the Kobi’s Ice Day stamps set by Studio Katia. I stamped them with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on some Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock and colored them with Spectrum Noir Markers. I then die cut them with the coordinating dies.

For the tag itself I used the new Dotted Shaker Tag 3 Creative Dies to cut some white cardstock for the tag front, and some Bristol Smooth cardstock for the background. To create the sky I did some ink blending with Distress Inks in Chipped Sapphire, Faded Jeans and Salty Ocean.
I then created some shimmery droplets by diluting some Nuvo Shimmer Powders in Storm Cloud as well as some Ranger Perfect Pearls with water. I picked up the water with a paintbrush and flicked it over my background. I also added some snow with a number 8 white Gelly Roll pen.

I stamped the sentiment with Memento Dew Drops in Love Letters and assembled the tag by gluing all the elements together with the new Studio Katia Glue. I threaded some red ribbon through the opening at the top of the tag, and added a few details and a few highlights to the images with a number 5 Gelly Roll pen.

And that’s it for today! I really hope you guys like this post, and I hope I inspired you to create your own handmade Christmas tags!
Thank you all so much for stopping by, and have a great day!

    Hi Laura:
I'm loving your sweet tag, and I'm most inspired by your snowy night background shown through the VERY cool Studio Katia tag die with windows. SO cute. Thanks for sharing your talents to inspire us all.
