Hi everyone! Just a quick post to let you know that I am on the Impronte d’Autore blog with an interactive card featuring tons of fun Lawn Fawn products!
The interactive mechanism is a pull tab that reveals a cute toast. And our squirrel is ready to catch it!
I started off by stamping images from the Let’s Toast, I Love You(caliptus), Thanks a Latte e Forest Feast stamp sets on Bristol Smooth cardstock by Strathmore and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I then die cut them with the coordinating dies.
I stamped the tree trunk with Distress Oxide in Walnut Stain ans Ground Espresso and added some color to the trunk section with Spectrum Noir markers.
For the card base and the landscape elements I used some Bazzil card and some Lawn Fawn dies.
I cut my card base out of red card with the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables and created a patterned paper effect by embossing the images in the Let’s Toast stamp set with white embossing powder.
For the sky I used the Stitched Journaling Card dies. The pull tab mechanism is hidden behind this panel, and was created thanks to the Let’s Toast Pull Tab Add-On dies.
To finish off the scene I die cut some green card with the Lawn Fawn Grassy Hillside Borders and a couple of clouds with the Simple Puffy Clouds dies.
As a last step (but I would advice to do this right after you are done coloring the images) I embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder.
