Peek Through Friendship Card feat MFT and Concord&9th – Maaike’s 3K Video Hop

Hi everyone! Today I am really thrilled to be back with a cute friendship card I created for a video hop in celebration of my crafty friend Maaike reaching 3000 subscribers on YouTube! There is a lot of inspiration and giveaways so make sure to watch the videos and hop along!

The card I made today is a cute peek-through card I created using the Concord & 9th Peek-Through Patterns Dies and the My Favorite Things Tweet Friends stamp set. I think these two products work great together and this was just the perfect card for Maaike’s friendship video hop!

I started by die cutting the word friend out of a white A2 card base using the Concord & 9th Peek-Through Patterns and backing it with some acetate.
I then cut two grassy borders out of some green cardstock using the My Favorite Things Grassy Fields Die-Namics, one for the outside of the card and one for the inside.

I created a cloudy sky on the inside of the card using the My Favorite Things Cloud Stencil and Distress Oxide in Peacock Feathers. I blended the Distress Oxide using my Scrapbook.com Blending Brushes.

I then moved on to my images. These are part of the adorable Tweet Friend stamp set by My Favorite Things. I stamped them on Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock with My Favorite Things Black Licorice Hybrid Ink and colored them with Nuvo Markers. I then fussy cut them with my scissors (but coordinating dies are available, if you are interested).

I then decided to add some more details on the front of my card. I did some masked ink blending with Distress Oxide in Worn Lipstick over the word friend and stamped the Whimsical Waves over the rest of the panel, also using Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide.

I glued all the images in place and stamped the second part of my sentiment on the inside of the card, adding a music note for an extra fun detail.

To finish off the card I added some some Studio Katia Iridescent Crystals.
As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, I uploaded a video tutorial showing how to create this fun peek-through friendship card. Just to remind you, the video is part of a hop with lots of inspiration and giveaways, so make sure to hop along!

Thank you all so much for stopping by and have a great day!
