Floral Tag Duo | ModaScrap Magnolia Stamps and Cardstock

Hi everyone! It’s Laura here, and today I am back with two easy floral tags I created with the new Magnolia stamps and papers.

To start off, I cut the base of my tags using the main die in the ModaScrap Surprise Tag dies. I cut one tag out of the Tommy Magnolia 30×30″ double sided papers, and the other from the Pastel Grey  30×30″ double sided papers.

I then created some decorative elements for my tags using again dies from the Tag Surprise set, and the same papers as above. To add some extra interest, I embellished the tags with the ModaScrap Gelly and the Triangles stencil.

For the images I used the Magnolia stamp from the ModaScrap Tommy Art Line. I stamped them on Sirio White Cardstock and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I then die cut them with the coordinating dies.
I also used the Magnolia dies to cut some vellum, which I coated with some Gelly to add some subtle shine. For the sentiment I cut some black cardstock with some of the dies in the Surprise Tag set, and I assembled the tags.

I lined the inside of the tags with one more die cut from the Surprise Tag dies, and that’s where the personal message would go. As a final step, I threaded some white embroidery floss through the eyelet of the tag.

And that’s my project for today! There is also a video tutorial for you, showing how to create these handmade surprise tags with the ModaScrap Magnolia stamps and papers. Make sure to check it out and to subscribe to the my channel for more inspiration!
