Four Seasons Card Series – Mama Elephant Me and My Dragon – Spring

Hi everyone! Today I am back with the second installment of my Four Seasons Card series featuring the Mama Elephant Me and My Dragon and Dragon Wishes stamp sets. If you missed the first card in the series, you can check it out here.

After winter, it was time for a spring card, so I opted for some bright colors. Like I did in my previous card, I created a scene. I used the Mama Elephant Cloud Nine Dies to create the sky, the cloud and the sun. I added colors to the elements using Distress Oxides in Salty Ocean, Tumbled Glass, Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed and Carved Pumpkin.

For the hills I combined the Cloud Nine dies with the Landscape Trio dies, also by Mama Elephant. I ink blended Distress Oxides in Twisted Citron and Lawn Fawn, and raised the front hill on one layer of foam tape.

To add an extra touch of spring, together with the dragons from the Me and My Dragon and Dragon Wishes stamp sets, I used the butterflies and the birds from the Wild Roar set. I stamped them with Scrapbook.com Premium Hybrid Black ink colored them with Spectrum Noir Markers.
I also created a color chart for you, you can pin it to your Pinterest boards for reference, if you like.

For the sentiment I used again the Hello Friend Script die. I layered some white cardstock with a sheet of craft foam to create a dimensional sentiment, and blended some Distress Ink in Picked Raspberry to add some color to it.

And that’s it for today! I really hope you like this card, and I hope you are a little excited about this cardmaking mini series. I can’t wait to create my summer card!
As always, thank you all so much for stopping by and have a great day!
