Four Seasons Card Series – Mama Elephant Me and My Dragon – Summer

Hi everyone and welcome to the third installment of my mini series, featuring the Mama Elephant Me and My Dragon stamp set. So far I have created a winter card and a spring card using these adorable stamps, and today it is time for a summer card! Yay!
Also in this case I created a scene card, and paired the dragons with some of the images in the Beach Chickies and Summer Splash stamp sets, both by Mama Elephant. All the images were colored with Spectrum Noir markers – I have listed all the markers used in the color chart down below.
For the scene itself I die cut some Bristol Smooth cardstock with several die sets.
The stitched detail around all the die cuts is given by the Cloud Nine dies. Those were also used to die cut the Sun.
For the waves I used the Mama Elephant Ocean Waves Trio dies, and for the beach the Landscape Trio Dies, also by Mama Elephant.

To add color to the die cuts I used Distress Oxides. On the sky I used Picked Raspberry, Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass. For the ocean waves I chose Blueprint Sketch, Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass.
For the sand I used Antique Linen and Tea Dye, and for the Sun Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade.

I created a dimensional sentiment by die cutting some white cardstock and some white fun foam with the Hello Friend Script Die. I glued everything on a top-folding A2 card base, layering the wave borders with one layer of foam tape.

I added some white gel pen detail, and I coated the umbrella and the kite with a Spectrum Noir clear overlay pen.

And that’s it for today! I really hope you guys liked this summer card inspiration with the Mama Elephant Me and My Dragon stamp set! Stay tuned for the fourth and last card in the series – I will want to know which one is your favorite! πŸ˜‰
