Combining Foiling with Heat Embossing | All Year Round Card with Spellbinders PA Scribe

Hi everyone! I am back today with another post and some more cardmaking inspiration, this time with the Spellbinders PA Scribe Collection by Paul Antonio. In this card I combined some hot foiling and heat embossing, and I stuck to a black/white/gold color palette, for an elegant look.

The floral background was created with the Flower Pattern Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and some Polished Brass Hot Foil Roll by Spellbinders. I used the same gold foil to foil the word beautiful on some black cardstock. The plate that I used is in the Hey Beautiful set. I used my scissors to cut around the sentiment.

The word Hi was heat embossed with gold embossing powder first, and then with black embossind powder. I used my Mini MISTI and I shifted the panel a little before using the black embossing powder, because I wanted to create a shadow effect.

I used gold embossing powder also on the middle panel, to create one more gold element, and here’s the card in all its shimmer!
And that’s it for today! I really hope you liked this post and were inspired to create your own foiled cards! They are quick to make and the results are always so pretty!
