Heffy Friends Blog Hop + Giveaways!

Hi everyone! Today I am really excited to show you two cards I created for the Heffy Friends Blog Hop! I love Heffy Doodle stamps, and I especially liked the latest released – so I am really happy to be able to share with you these two cards! There is more ispiration and a giveaway, too – read this post until the end to find out more! Oh, and there’s a video as well!

For the first card I used the Treat Yo Self stamps set and my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.
I started off by creating the background on some Bristol Smooth cardstock, which I had previously die cut to an A2 size with the Heffy Doodle Clover Frames dies.

I used the Candy store stencil and my Scrapbook.com blending brushes to create some stripes with Distress Oxide in Festive Berries. I then drew in some green lines with a Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers, and then created some black lines with a Faber Castell Black felt tip pen and my T-Square Ruler. I added some water droplets to create a distressed look.

For the panel in the middle I used the Heffy Doodle Clover Frames Dies and cut some more Bristol Smooth cardstock. I stamped the watermelon image from the Treat Yo Self stamp with Versafine Onyx Black ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I then colored it with Zig Clead Color Real Brush markers.

The focal panel was also created with the help of the Heffy Doodle Clover Frames Dies and Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I raised it over the card base with one layer of foam tape, and I used the foam tape to raise the ice cream image too. To finish off the card, I added shimmer to the ice cream topping with a Spectrum Noir Clear overlay pen and glued some clear drops over the card base.

Here is a list of the supplies used to create this card. But don’t go yet! We have still card number two, a video tutorial, and all the giveaway details to talk about!

For card number two I used the Happily Ever Crafter stamp set and the Heart Gift Card Pocket die set and created a cute wedding card with a gift card holder. There is also a video tutorial for this card, you can find it towards the end of this post.

To create the scene in the back, I used the Grassy Lass Border and the Silver Linings Cloud Border dies. I blended Distress Oxides on each die cut panel, using my Scrapbook.com blending brushes. I also used Perfect Pearls to give the background a pearlescent look.

For the gift card holder, I die cut some Bristol Smooth cardstock and some Heffy Doodle Oyster Shell cardstock with the Heart Gift Card Pocket dies. I added some detail to the grey panel using Ranger Matte White Texture Paste over the Steady Hearts Stencil.

The images were stamped with Spectrum Noir Finesse Black Ink, colored with Spectrum Noir markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies.

I have made a few but nothing that adorable!! Your wedding card is a treasure! It is so precious!! This might be showing my age but it reminds me of the β€œLove Is” characters from the 70’s.
