Altenew August 2019 Stamp/Die/Stencil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

And now, let’s have a look at today’s projects.
For my first card I used the Wavy Roses stamp set and I did some watercoloring using the Tropical Fiesta Markers, also by Altenew.

To make the process a little faster, I heat embossed the images with clear embossing powder prior to coloring them. Once I was done coloring, I die cut everything with the coordinating dies. 

I then cut some watercolor card to 5.25×4″ and added a few droplets with the black paint in the Altenew watercolor palette, a Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay pen and the Turquoise marker in the Tropical Fiesta set. I added some wavy lines with a Faber Castell fineliner and stamped the sentiment from the Just Because Builder stamp set.

I glued everything to a black A2 card base and added some Nuvo Drops in Ebony Black for a finishing touch. I do have a video tutorial for this card, but before that, I wanted to show you my second card for today.

For this one I used the Dot Art stamp set, which is a very cool set  full of graphic images. You can really play around a lot with it! 
This card was really quick to put together – no coloring involved at all! 
I just stamped a few of the designs on my card base, added a sentiment et voilà!
To spice things up a little, I trimmed my card base to 4×5.5″ and layered it on a strip of black cardstock, and that finished off my second card.

    Oh I love your Wavy Roses card! I'm not usually drawn to stamp sets of roses, yet, all three of the stamp sets in this release that have roses in, I really really like.

    Your floral card is so pretty. Thanks for the video. I don't have the hang of watercolor color markers so I'm always glad to watch openers use them. The dotted set is my favorite of this release. I love the way you used so many elements.
